Your questions answered...
Let’s put this in perspective. Many of us spend lots of time, energy and money researching major purchases such as cars and houses. Or paying for gym memberships to develop our physical fitness. Or figuring out how to be good parents and/or partners. Or paying for professional training or a tertiary education. Yet we make such little investment in identifying our career goals and developing a strategy and our skills to achieve those goals. Ironically it is these career skills which determine our working life choices, where we spend most of our waking hours and also pay for our life style and other goodies!
From this point of view career counselling can pay huge dividends, particularly when you are motivated to work hard at developing your self-awareness and continually improving your career transition skills. In the new world of work these skills are vital.

Some attend once for a specific issue, others continue to attend over a longer period of time at longer intervals as their career planning and development progresses.
